| O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar algumas características biométricas e o rendimento de grãos de soja, cultivada em solo com baixo teor de fósforo e submetida a diferentes níveis de adubação fosfatada. Foi instalado um experimento no município de Gilbués-PI, na microrregião do Alto Médio Gurguéia, no Sul do Estado do Piauí, no período de dezembro de 2007 a abril de 2008, em um Latossolo Amarelo. O delineamento experimental utilizado foi o de blocos casualizados, sendo os tratamentos constituídos por seis doses de fósforo (0; 40; 60; 100; 120 e 140 kg ha-1 de P2O5) com quatro repetições. | O feijão-de-vagem é uma hortaliça rica em fibras, proteínas e vitaminas. Dentro do programa de melhoramento do feijão-de-vagem da Universidade Estadual do Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro (UENF), foram realizadas seleções nas populações F2, em campo; avançando até F5 pelo método SSD, em casa de vegetação; selecionando 30 linhas promissoras em F6. Continuando o programa, a geração F7 foi cultivada e avaliada, em campo, em Campos dos Goytacazes e em Bom Jesus do Itabapoana. | O objetivo deste trabalho foi estudar o controle genético da resistência à Cercospora sojina, em populações segregantes derivadas do cruzamento entre as cultivares de soja Paraná e Bossier. Foram avaliadas nos genitores e nas gerações F1, F2, RC1 e RC2 seis características das plantas associadas com a doença: nota para infecção (NT); número de lesões por folíolo (NLF); diâmetro médio de lesão (DML); porcentagem de área foliar lesionada (PAFL); número de lesões por cm² (NLC) e índice de doença (ID). | ABSTRACT The aim of this research was to evaluate the agro-economic performance of two table-tomato cultivars (Santa Clara and Siluet), under organic cultivation and in a protected environment. Through the analysis of production costs, economic viability and project risk, it was sought to generate a proposal for agricultural profitability having less socio-environmental impact on family farming. | O objetivo deste trabalho foi avaliar as características físico-químicas e sensoriais de goiabas in natura e submetidas à desidratação por imersão-impregnação e à secagem complementar por convecção, além de avaliar a estabilidade da cor das goiabas secadas após 30, 60 e 90 dias de armazenamento sob refrigeração. Amostras de goiaba foram imersas em soluções de sacarose a 0,4 e 0,5 g mL-1, sacarose a 0,3 g mL-1 + sucralose a 0,2 g L-1, açúcar invertido a 41% (p/p) e açúcar invertido sem diluição. | Seven soybean cultivars (Bossier, Cristalina, Davis, Kent, Lincoln, Paraná and Uberaba), with different levels of resistance to Cercospora sojina, were crossed in a diallel design to determine the general (GCA) and specific (SCA) combining abilities relative to the inheritance of the resistance. Race 04 of the fungus was inoculated in the parents and in the 21 F1 hybrids in a greenhouse in a completely randomized design, with 12 replications. The reactions to the disease were evaluated 20 days after the inoculation, always on the most infected leaflet.
